Making an Escaportfolio

Or why, in the midst of my internship research, I gamified my portfolio


Step 7
Reusing assets to deepen the links between locks



I reuse the screaming girl in the Exit folder, to add to the feeling of evolution in the narrative :
She’s trying to escape just as much as the player, so since the player shared a password with her, she advanced.



Then, I use the marble icon in the last screen, to make the player understand that what they will find in the marble game
is the answer they will need to access this last part of the escape game.


Step 8

Testing



I asked other students and professionals for feedbacks on this portfolio!

And it has been enlightening :
It got me to correct the position of some hints.
Led to the creation of these pages.
Made me modify the dialogue presentation.
And some other little tweaks here and there.

And then you have it : A gamified portfolio ✨️
Because I love making games and sharing them.
