Making an Escaportfolio
Or why, in the midst of my internship research, I gamified my portfolioIf you are here, it means that we have a passion in common : Games.
In my case, it translates in the pleasure I take in transporting people through amazing experiences, where their enjoyment matters.
So it was only logical to do the same for a portfolio!
Step 1
Getting the idea
Making an escape game is a common exercise for game designers, as it requires narrative, systemic, puzzle and UX skills.
“With what am I going to make this game ?”
“What am I going to talk about ?”
“How am I going to show it ?”
“What will be the steps to complete it ?”
“Do people understand and enjoy the experience ?”
I had been wanting to use the escape game format for a while, but did not have a sufficient level in CSS to make it myself on free websites.
I thus stumbled upon the first question for a bit, until one of my fellow Enjmin classmates showed me her cargo portfolio.
The template was perfect for what I had in mind. And so the Escaportfolio project started.
